On November 4th, 2024 AMM's Dr. Netra Thakur and Kayla Jones MA, Med Serve Fellow, attended the annual John B Graham Medical Student Research Society UNC Medical Student Research Day.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On the third Friday each month, AMM welcomes the Rex Mammography Bus to provide free mammograms to patients.

The Million Steps Challenge Award Dinner was held on August 14th to recognize the top three participants with the most steps taken over 5 months. Everyone who participated received a Fitbit to track their steps, and the top three also received a gift card to Fleet Feet to buy a new pair of walking shoes!
