I am delighted to announce that AMM is continuing to expand access to medical care by adding a new provider to our team, Esther Jones, FNP-BC, APRN! AMM patients have complex medical, social and cultural issues in their lives. Access to medical and mental health care continues to be a major issue for marginalized populations in Wake County. Our providers address all of these issues and are not under time constraints, insurance quotas, or a for-profit incentive. In some ways it is a much purer practice of medicine for our providers – no patient billing and no patient volume concerns. Bringing on Esther allows us to expand our capacity and to provide more access for our community.
We are also proud to announce that we are partnering with UNC Health to help distribute tickets to the UNC Health Championship Golf Tournament for May 30 to June 2. It is a fantastic golf tournament at Raleigh Country Club – our neighbor right up the street. Proceeds from ticket sales purchased below will not only benefit AMM – but can be purchased at a discount using the code below. So, if you plan on attending, please consider getting your tickets through AMM.
As always, thank you for your support of our Mission of reducing the health disparities for underserved populations in Wake County. We can not what we do without your support.
Sincerely,
Pete Tannenbaum, AMM Executive Director
