Jason Troiano M.D. grew up in Virginia Beach and attended both college and medical school at the University of Virginia. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Wake Forest University in 2002. He has been practicing primary care medicine in a variety of settings since then. He is board certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Troiano has a passion for and interest in helping patients to control their chronic health problems and achieve their health goals. He came to Alliance Medical Ministry in September 2022 specifically to treat the uninsured patients in our community.  He believes strongly that quality health care is a fundamental right of every human being, not just those who have access to health insurance.

In his spare time, Dr. Troiano enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball and participating with his church, and watching college basketball. He also practices meditation daily and is in the process of becoming a certified mindfulness meditation teacher.
